Since we opened almost eight years ago, Haymaker Bun Company has become the place where friends meet for coffee, the backdrop for an exciting first date, a gathering place for a momentous wedding proposal, a comforting respite where people commiserate over tough times, and the launching point to host a fundraiser for a worthy cause. Watching Haymaker grow out of my little home kitchen and become a pillar of the community is without a doubt the achievement I am most proud of in my life.

Today, I’m looking to humbly lean on that very community for your support. Like so many small businesses, Haymaker is currently experiencing turbulent economic conditions. We are navigating rising food costs (hello eggs!), and bracing ourselves for the ripple effects of tariffs, all during the slowest time of the year. We’ve come up with a plan to give you, our faithful patrons, friends and family, a chance to help out. (And we’ll repay the favor!)

Here’s how it works:

You buy a Haymaker Gift Card that you can either pick up at the bakery, receive in the mail or get in digital form to use online. As a thank you, we will include a bonus 10% on any purchase amount, loaded back into the card as a gift from us to you. (That is both a better and more delicious return on investment than the stock market at the best of times!) Haymaker Gift Cards may be used at either bakery location or at any of our Pasta Pop-Ups.

You may be familiar with our monthly promotions where we choose a different organization or cause to support in our community. For the month of March, we are asking that you support our buns! I know times are tough for many, but please consider purchasing a gift card and in doing so investing in our little bun company.

We're here, open 7 days a week, and so eager to serve you breakfast, snacks, treats and lunch. There is nothing I love more about my job than the amazing communities that we are a part of.
